Thank you for the Easter hampers

We’ve been bowled over by the support from so many people who have donated to our Easter Hamper Campaign!

Today, Amy Barker visited us to drop off a donation of 11 beautifully prepared hampers, along with a clutch of chocolate Easter eggs!

Amy wanted to support us to say thank you for the care we gave to her Grandma Maureen Farrar, who recently passed away in St John’s Hospice. She was joined by her Mum Marie Kilner as they also donated £260 raised from Maureen’s funeral collection and cash donations in lieu of eggs.

Amy said: “Grandma loved Easter and Christmas, and so it seemed fitting to support the Easter Hamper appeal. We are very thankful to all of our friends and family for their amazing donations – it just goes to show how very loved Grandma was.”

St John’s Hospice Fundraiser Maureen Harwood said: “We are extremely grateful to Amy and Marie for their support!

“We hope these hampers will help us raise much needed funds for our Hospice Charity.”
