Lions help to keep patients cooler

Patients in our Doncaster hospice can now be cooler in the summer, thanks to Tickhill and District Lions.

For the Lions donated £664 to our hospice to fund two Dyson bladeless fans – but when the hospice approached Dyson to buy them, they discounted the product meaning they could buy four!

Lindsey Richards, of our St John’s Hospice Appeal, said: “We want to thank members of Tickhill and District Lions for their fantastic donation and Dyson for their generosity too. It means our patients can now be much cooler in the summer – making them much more comfortable.”
