Charity wax raises £400 for Hospice

We’d like to say a huge thank you to local cricketers Jordan Goddard and David Merryweather who have endured a charity wax to raise funds in memory of their loved ones.

Jordan and David, who both play for Brodsworth Main Cricket Club took part in the sponsored wax at an event at the Club on 5 November, which also included a Duck Race and raffle, raising £400 for St John’s Hospice in Doncaster, in memory of their respective grandparents Maureen Goddard and Lesley Merryweather.

Thanks to everyone at Brodsworth Main Cricket Club for their amazing contribution in making the event possible and all friends, families, and colleagues from DFS for their sponsorship.
