AA answers St John’s Hospice Christmas Raffle appeal

A British motoring association sped into action and answered the call for Christmas Raffle prize donations from St John’s Hospice in Doncaster.

The AA headed to the hospice on Weston Road, Balby equipped with an Amazon Echo which was presented to the hospice fundraisers on November 12, 2018 by Tracey Curle, Client Relationship Manager.

Maureen Harwood, St John’s Hospice Fundraiser who made the plea, said: “Thank you to the AA for supporting our Christmas Raffle and donating this fantastic prize. This raffle is one of our main activities to raise vital funds for the comfort of our patients.”

The Amazon Echo will be added to the other fantastic prizes to be won including a Gold Apple iPad 32gb, a black Samsung Galaxy Tab A6, Doncaster Rovers family ticket for a home match, two Sheffield United home match tickets, gift vouchers plus lots more prizes.

Tickets are on sale for £1 each and are available from St John’s Hospice Reception and St John’s Hospice Information Centre Reception, plus other locations across the Tickhill Road Hospital Site, off Weston Road, Balby.

The raffle will be drawn on Wednesday December 12.
