The Lads perform musical medleys at our Hospice

We’ve been entertained by friends Les and Dave, otherwise known as the music duo, ‘The Lads.’

Both Les and Dave have performed previously for the benefit of our Inpatient and Day Therapy Unit patients, their friends and their families and once again they delivered a rip-roaring set list stretching from the 1940s through to the 1990s.

Highlights included a Buddy Holly medley and an emotional finale in the form of Gerry And The Pacemakers’ ‘You’ll never Walk Alone.’

Our Activities Co-ordinator Richard Smith said: “We thank both Dave and Les for giving their time so generously and for delivering a superb performance. Music is a wonderful therapy for the mind, body and the soul and our patients gained a lot from this magical matinee performance.”
