Clothes swop shop success

Staff from the Children’s Services at Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Trust (RDaSH) have raised £100 for our hospice in Doncaster and gained a new wardrobe in the process.

Staff at the Trust decided to host a clothes swop shop to raise money for the hospice and to spruce up their wardrobes at the same time.

Sherree Cousins, a secretary for Children’s Services said: “All the ladies in the office usually fetch in unwanted clothing so we decided to make a day of it and see if we could raise some money too.”

“Working for the Trust we know all about the hospice and their need to raise money, so we asked that anyone who took a new item of clothing made a small donation. It was lots of fun, we did this in our break time and raised £100!”

Lindsey Richards of the hospice said: “What a fun way to raise some money. We’re very grateful for any donations at the hospice and the £100 will be put to good use. Thank you to all staff who took part.”
