Bloomin’ amazing donation

Doncaster’s hospice appeal is flourishing……..after a bloomin’ amazing donation from a not for profit social enterprise.

Flourish Enterprises, which runs a tea room, small garden centre and conferencing venue in Woodfield Park, off Tickhill Road, Balby, donated the cash after winning it in the Doncaster Frenchgate Flower Show.

The Flourish Enterprises staff and volunteers entered one of the categories of the show and clinched £500, which this week they donated to St John’s Hospice Appeal.

Paul Kendrew Jones, of Flourish Enterprises, said: “We won the money for charity and couldn’t think of a better charity than our neighbours at the hospice. They do such a fantastic job for patients, carers and their loved ones.”

Chris Smith, Community Fundraiser for the hospice, said: “I want to thank Flourish Enterprises of thinking of us. Every penny raised goes towards making our patients’ lives more comfortable.”
