Big boost for hospice

Two brothers have together run a half marathon and raised just over £600 for our hospice.

Matt and Tim Millington of Doncaster ran the Manchester half marathon in October to raise money for our St John’s Hospice, in Balby.

Matt of Rossington said: “Me and my brother Tim, who lives in Bessacarr, are friends with another set of brothers whose parents both used the hospice’s services. After hearing how the hospice made our friends’ parents comfortable and helped support the family we decided we wanted to raise money for the hospice as a thank you. The half marathon was the perfect opportunity”

Lindsey Richards of the Hospice said: “I want to thank Matt and Tim for this money and for taking part in the half marathon. Every penny raised supports our patients and their families.”
